Alex Markovitz

I majored in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Babson College. After starting multiple businesses in the entertainment industry, I went on to design and develop presentations at management consultancy Quintiles, where I worked for nearly five years.

I balanced my day job with personal ventures, like music management and fashion merchandising, which garnered attention from investors. Eventually, I got offers from established names, so I decided to design and develop presentations on a freelance basis. This allowed me to work on other cool projects, from emerging brands to current events.

My approach—no matter the medium—is to find the moving story and points of enthusiasm behind the project I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one I find most engaging.

For me, engagement isn’t about pure dollars and sense, but rather, a way to showcase a passion to your audience. It’s a way to plant a little bit of desire in their hearts; a yearning to turn the page and learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating a memorable story.
